Qixin account and online services
A Qixin account identifies the Qixin online services and personal or organization entitlements you can use. It is not a prerequisite for opening Theseus Desktop, creating a project, or editing a local App.
While signed out, you can create, open, and edit local Apps; use Files, Pages, Objects, and local version management; and use the built-in Theseus package source. Sign in only when an online service asks you to.

Sign-in provides only the entitlements owned by the current Qixin account. Organization resources also depend on membership, roles, available quantity, and administrator configuration. Signing in to a personal account does not grant access to arbitrary organizations.
Sign in from the account menu
- Open the account menu in App Hub or the editor. While signed out, the menu shows Login.
- Select Login. Theseus opens the Qixin sign-in page in your system browser.
- Complete sign-in in the browser and approve its request to open Theseus Desktop.
- Return to Theseus and wait for the account menu to show your avatar or account name.
- Open the online service you need and confirm the correct personal account or organization is selected.
Starting sign-in from Qixin AI, package sources, or another online feature uses the same flow and returns to the corresponding Desktop page. The account menu shows the signed-in state only after Desktop validates the newest authorization result. Starting sign-in again cancels an earlier unfinished flow.
Sign out of the Qixin account
- Open the account menu and verify the current account.
- Select Log out.
- In the confirmation dialog, select Log out again.
After sign-out:
- Theseus Desktop clears the current Qixin authorization. Qixin AI, online licenses, personal or organization package sources, and Qixin cloud code services require sign-in again.
- Qixin AI platform credentials and organization-model authorization are removed from Desktop. After signing in again, confirm the account and model under AI Settings.
- Local Apps, uncommitted changes, local Git history, installed packages, and the built-in Theseus package source are not deleted.
- Configured runtime-target connections are not affected, and App users are not signed out.
Signing out of the Qixin account in Theseus Desktop does not replace signing out of Portal in a browser. If Portal is still open, use the account state shown there to decide whether to sign out there as well.
Personal and organization entitlements
One Qixin account can have personal entitlements and belong to one or more organizations. Before using an online service, verify both the signed-in account and the active context:
- Qixin AI uses the explicitly selected personal wallet, organization wallet, or organization model.
- An online license can belong to a person or an organization. Open the correct scope before purchasing, activating, or downloading it.
- Personal and organization package sources are separate. After organization membership changes, sign in again or refresh the page before checking available content.
- Repositories and actions visible in Qixin Cloud Code depend on that service's project and team permissions.
Keep the three account domains separate
Qixin sign-in does not create or authorize either of the other identities:
- To connect to, deploy to, or administer a runtime target, use an account owned by that target; see Runtime-target access and permissions.
- To record the current operator and apply Page roles on a runtime page, use an App user owned by the current App; see App users, roles, and runtime-page sign-in.
All three accounts can use the same username and still remain independent. Signing out of one identity does not sign out either of the others.
Common issues
I am signed in but cannot see organization resources
Verify the account shown in the account menu, then confirm that it belongs to the intended organization and has permission for the service. For Qixin AI, licenses, and package sources, also check the organization selected on the current page.
An online service asks me to sign in again
The authorization might have expired, or the current network might be unable to validate it. Preserve the original error, confirm that Qixin services are reachable, and sign in again from the account menu. Do not bypass sign-in by editing local configuration.
Why can I still edit an App after signing out?
This is expected. Local editing does not depend on a Qixin account; sign-in is required only when you use an online service again.
